TREKKING SEASONS

There are two seasons for trekking in Nepal, the Spring time and the Autumn time. Spring falls from the beginning of March through to the end of May and the Autumn season is from mid September to the end of November. This later season is considered as the peak time for trekking in Nepal with favorable weather conditions and fantastic clear views. The early Spring seasons is defiantly the prettier time to come for wild flowers and greenery but good views are not always guaranteed.

Trekking is also possible in the winter season of December through to February but only recommended at lower altitudes and you should be prepared for extreme cold and snow. Out of these times, June through to the beginning of September is the monsoon, trekking is possible in some areas but not recommended at higher altitudes. During this time there is normally daily rain fall.
