Ladakh is a far flung eastern pocket in the very far north of India. This mountain paradise is a high altitude snow desert cradled by the razor sharp ridges and peaks of the mighty Himalayas. It’s a unique barren and breathless place. Here you can see mountain top monasteries and Ghompas and revel in the mystic of Buddhism. Dharamasla on the other hand is a lushly forested hill station and is famed as being the home to the Tibetan government in exile and as the home of the Dali Lama.

This chilled out place is a haven for travelers and back packers, you can just relax, meditate do yoga, learn about Buddhism or do some trekking in the surrounding hills. Not only this, but the terrain is excellent for mountain biking. This tour takes you over some of the toughest and highest road passes in the world to the heart of the rich and fertile Indus Valley. Challenge your fitness and stamina against nature, the altitude and the Himalaya on this amazing odyssey on mountain bike.

The season is short in this part of the world, mountain bike tours into Ladakh and Leh run from the end of June to the end of October and are very weather dependant, but the challenges and Obstacles on route make the journey more rewarding.
