NAGARKOT & BHAKTAPUR
Grade: Moderate Distance: 64 km Departs: Daily

A scenic ride up the gently winding road to Nagarkot at 2210 meters. Enjoy the best views of the Himalaya on a clear day. Stay overnight and enjoy sunset and sunrise over the mountains.  From Nagarkot, the views are some of the most impressive in Nepal and on a clear day it is possible to see Mountain Everest. After the climb the day before, the second day is refreshingly downhill. The trail winds through the countryside down the ancient town of Bhaktapur. Spend time sightseeing and after lunch return to Kathmandu either by cycling or vehicle.

CHISAPANI
Grade: Difficult Distance: 55 km Departs: Daily

The ride to Chisapani is a true mountain bikers trail with a steep off road climb that will challenge the fittest of riders. Climb up through typical Tamang villages and over grazing land. Steeply terraced corn fields line the trail. Follow a small river along its course and through the jungle and wet lands before re joining a rugged jeep track. Chisapani is a simple village that marks the entrance to Langtang and Helambhu Trekking. The tea houses are simple but he views are incredible. The second day is a downhill romp through the jungle back to Kathmandu.

DHULIKHEL & NAMOBUDDHA
Grade: Moderate Distance: 85 km Departs: Daily

Back lanes and jeep tracks take us to Banpea, a busy trading hub where we join the friendship highway for the short ride to Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is one of Nepal’s premier hill stations and a great places to spend the afternoon. The next day head off road to Namobuddha, the Monastery where The Present Buddha sacrificed his flesh to a starving tigress and her five cubs. From here ride cross country to the ancient town of Pauntie, and then climb slowly upwards to Lakuri Bhangyang. From this small pass it’s a thrilling track and trails ride back into Kathmandu.
